ASISTM
Project
The
Australian School
Innovation in Science,
Technology and
Mathematics (ASISTM)
project is a 3 year,
$30M government
initiative to further
education in primary and
secondary schools,
Australia wide.

APMP
is proud to be a part of
this project. APMP has
developed the UniBoard
system to further
Science, Technology and
Mathematics in secondary
schools, and is involved
with teacher training
days, and liaising with
schools and students
during the project.
Engaging Students
in Science and
Technology Using
Mechatronics aims to
use microelectronic
devices as materials for
creative exploration by
students in their
studies of science and
technology. This project
will enable Years 7-10
students to work as
engineers and artists,
using Picaxe
programmable resources
to create devices that
they will be able to
program and control
while learning
fundamental concepts in
physics, biology and
logic. Teachers will be
professionally supported
by an APMP expert in
electronics. Students
will undertake science
experiments, design and
construct their own
microelectronic devices
and participate in an
inter-school
mechatronics competition
across the cluster.
