MD 2000 short form kit

The MD 2000 kit is similar to the all featured HD 2000 kit, but does not show the speed of the boat. This takes out the costly GPS module, but all other features are retained, and the price is significantly lower. The MD 2000 shows the rating of the crew, has a metronome function, and as with all OSCA kits, is completely submersible.

The short form kit includes the case, printed circuit board, all components and assembly instructions, but does not include rechargeable batteries, waterproof plug and GPS board. Suitable for clubs that require microphone amplification and rating readout but do not require speed readout.

The board and all electronic components are as per the HD 2000 kit, so if at a later date the speed readout should be required, a GPS board can be added to upgrade this kit to a HD 2000 model. Any external GPS serial mouse can also be interfaced to this unit.
