TA 2000 short form kit

The TA 2000 cox amplifier kit is suitable for clubs that do not require rating and speed output. The TA 2000 incorporates a microphone audio amplifier with digital volume control, and boasts the same waterproof properties as the HD and MD series (able to be completely submerged). As per the MD and HD series, the TA 2000 also has a low battery alarm, and auto shutoff.

Kit includes waterproof case, instruction manual, double sided solder masked printed circuit board, all switches, BNC microphone plug, and all onboard electronic components. You will need to add: 8 x rechargeable batteries, battery charger and 5 pin Amphenol(TM) type plug.

This kit is especially designed for beginner rowers as an alternative to "home brew cox amplifiers". It picks up on the usual problems of water ingress through switches, potentiometers, rheostats and knobs by using a fully waterproof pushbutton panel, and a digital volume control. This eliminates any number of points of entry where water can get in.

Built to withstand punishment, the TA 2000 protects the rechargeable batteries from over-discharge by an onboard battery management system. If the batteries are critically low, OSCA will emit a warning tone and switch off if necessary.
